Flughafen Zürich AG runs the AOS-AODB as a centralised system to support flight operations.

Flight information displays (FIDS monitors) at Zurich Airport are supplied with flight data from the AOS computer of Flughafen Zürich AG. The display and depth of information is adapted depending on the intended use. As such, you can access the information that is useful for carrying out your tasks.

Flughafen Zürich AG runs a central master clock which obtains its time signal from a GPS satellite. As such, all of the clocks at Zurich Airport show exactly the same time (CET and UTC available).

The private mobile radio network of Flughafen Zürich AG covers the entire airport premises and all flight operation-related interior rooms. The entire trunked radio system is being updated in 2021 and will therefore feature the latest generation of radio equipment.

In order to offer the airlines and passengers at Zurich Airport efficient and excellent service, Zurich Airport uses CUTE infrastructure (Common Use Terminal Equipment). In addition, Self Baggage Drop devices (SBD) are available, so that passengers can drop off their checked-in pieces of baggage themselves.

The BRTS system is connected to the baggage sorting equipment and enables passenger baggage reconciliation to be performed in accordance with the rules of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). It is also possible to sort baggage more specifically, for example by class, intended destination or priority.
